Frequently asked questions

Q. WHERE DO I FIND MY RACE RESULTS?

The results leaderboard for each distance will be updated live on the results page as soon as you’ve submitted your activity into your haku participant account.

Q. WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RACE?

A virtual race is an alternative race experience that allows runners and walkers the freedom and flexibility to take part in a race from wherever they’d like. Simply register online, run or walk the race distance, then upload your finish time to compare it to others.

Q. WHEN DO I PARTICIPATE AND HOW DOES THE RACE GET TIMED?

You must run or walk your race between 12:00 AM on Thursday, May 6th and 11:59 PM on Sunday, May 9th and must be submitted through your haku participant account by 11:59 PM on Monday, May 10th.

All race options will be timed and measured using your own timing device.

Q. WHERE DO I RUN?

Anywhere you want! Start right at your front door, jump on a treadmill, head to your favorite bike trail, or create and explore a special new route to commemorate the race. Just be safe, adhere to social distancing recommendations, and follow all public safety directives.  As much as we’d love to all gather together in Walnut Hill Park this year, we’ll be safe and save that for 2022!

Q. ARE THERE STILL AWARDS?

  • • Top 3 Overall Male & Female (5K & 10K only)
  • • Top 3 Overall Survivors (5K & 10K only)

*Verification must be submitted during the results submission process to be eligible for awards.
