#CTHopeInAction Keep moving on Mother’s Day weekend for a cause with the virtual CT RACE IN THE PARK!  The beloved annual tradition takes a virtual twist, and participants have the option to run or walk anywhere they choose in either the 1 Mile, 5K, or the special 10K distance offered this year only.

Details:

Register for the virtual CT RACE IN THE PARK to get moving this spring and to support a great cause!  Choose from three awesome distances to run or walk:

  • • 1 Mile
  • • 5K (3.1 Miles)
  • • 10K (6.2 Miles) - Special 2021 Only Distance

Run or walk any of these distances anytime Mother’s Day Weekend between Thursday, May 6th and Sunday, May 9th.

Registration Fees:

  • $21 - Opening Week Special (Until February 22nd)
  • $25 - Standard Pricing (February 23rd to May 2nd)
  • $30 - Race Week (May 3rd to May 9th)

*The 2021 CT RACE IN THE PARK is not owned by the Hartford Marathon Foundation (HMF), therefore HMF deferment codes are not valid for use during the registration process.

This event gives participants the flexibility to participate when and where it is convenient. As such, there are no refunds and no deferments for virtual events.

Kids Run:

Kids are encouraged to get in on the action too! Run or walk a 1/2 Mile to get moving and help support this great cause!

Registration fee is $15 per kid (open to kids 12 and under).

Kids Run activities must be completed anytime Mother’s Day Weekend between Thursday, May 6th and Sunday, May 9th and must be submitted through their haku participant account by 11:59 PM on Monday, May 10th. Click Here for DETAILS

Results Submission

Participants will be timed and measured using their own timing device. To make your RACE official, submit a run or walk through your haku participant account between 12:00 AM on Thursday, May 6th and 11:59 PM on Monday, May 10th using one of the two following options:

  • • OPTION 1 /// ADD FROM WEARABLE – Sync a compatible wearable device prior to your activity. Results will be uploaded to your haku results platform once your watch resyncs to your application. Once your device syncs, select the activity to submit for results.
    • • Compatible with: Suunto / Polar / FitBit / Garmin / Under Armour Fitness
    • • Don’t have a wearable device? No problem! Download the Free MapMyRun / MapMyWalk / MapMyFitness App on your smartphone and use it to track your pace, time, and distance. For complete details on how to use the app and track your activities, CLICK HERE
  • • OPTION 2 /// ADD MANUALLY – Enter results manually. Feel free to submit an image for verification of your activity.

Swag & Upgrades

All registered participants will receive a custom designed CT Breast Health Initiative blue face mask exclusively designed just for this year’s virtual event!  All survivors will receive a special pink CT Breast Health Initiative branded mask. 

In addition, participants are welcome to upgrade their experience and purchase the Official 2021 Race Shirt - blue long sleeve technical shirt - for just $30 (per shirt), cost includes shipping. There are three simple ways to grab yours today!

Both the masks and the long sleeve shirts will be mailed out at the conclusion of the event.

Want to get your mask before race weekend?  Just purchase “Pre-Race Facemask Shipping” during registration to ensure your mask gets sent to you before race weekend!  Masks and Race shirts will also be available for pickup at the following Packet Pickups:

Fundraising
