THE CONNECTICUT BREAST HEALTH INITIATIVE, Inc is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Our tax exempt number is 20-0495573. Our mission is to make a difference locally in the fight against breast cancer through education and research.

Five years ago Connecticut was ranked 11th in the nation in breast cancer mortality rates, the State now ranks 20th in 2008. However, it is still important to focus our efforts in Connecticut to help fight cancer. Our mission can only be achieved by raising funds for innovative breast health projects and research.

Fundraisers of the CT Breast Health Initiative, Inc. include:

• Howard H. Belkin Memorial Golf Tournament (formerly WE CARE Charity Golf Tournament)
• Pink Ribbon Bike Ride

We are also generously supported by other organizations including:

During the past four years, the Grants Committee has awarded over $750 thousand to fund important breast cancer research and education projects in the state of Connecticut.
